Ode to Jodo's Wig

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful buy
That started from an auction site
The price was not too high.

The dude was a mighty selling man,
Turned out to be a girl
Five bidders laid their money down
For a wig with some curl, a wig with some curl.

The auction ended with a win,
The winner he was boss
If not for the courage to make the highest bid
The wig could have been lost, the wig could have been lost.

The days passed by but no box arrived

the gloom was dark and deep
No wig has come

No box have I

Whatever shall I do now
My money's gone
No answers to my email pleas
This is arrbay hell.

So here I am still no wig of my own
Waited for a long, long time
How can I make the best of things
I aint got a dime.

His mates encouraged him to wait
And slowly passed the time

At last a box arrived for him
Just before it was a crime.

No beads, two coins, no Kuchi strand
Not a single tie I see,
"What? No display head" I screamed
Still I'm happy as can be.

So check back here once in a while
You will be entertained

From all the pictures he will post
In amounts unrestrained!

My thanks, or should that be my apologies, to the

creators of the original.......

Gilligan's Island Theme Song

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship.

The mate was a mighty sailing man,
The skipper brave and sure.
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.

The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.

The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan
The Skipper too,
The millionaire and his wife,
The movie star
The professor and Mary Ann,
Here on Gilligans Isle.

So this is the talel of the castways,
They're here for a long, long time,
They'll have to make the best of things,
It's an uphill climb.

The first mate and the Skipper too,
Will do their very best,
To make the others comfortable,
In the tropic island nest.

No phone, no lights no motor cars,
Not a single luxury,
Like Robinson Crusoe,
As primative as can be.

So join us here each week my freinds,
You're sure to get a smile,
From seven stranded castways,
Here on "Gilligan's Isle."
